My sisters and I tried to go here on a rainy Sunday bank holiday weekend but they were full, so it's a good idea to book in advance. We really wanted to try out Board so went back to Exeter the next day instead and were really pleased we did. Had time to try out quite a few games: both classic ones that we'd missed and newer ones. Good for trying out games prior to deciding whether to buy them. We all had yummy milkshakes too. Large selection of games and helpful staff.

We visited Exeter City Centre whilst on our holiday. We stumbled across "Board" and had decided to visit.

What I liked best was that it gave the opportunity to play games we wouldn't have usually bought ourselves.

The guy working there was extremely helpful and had an excellent knowledge of all the rules and how to play every game....and there were hundreds to choose from.

£5 for adults, £3.50 for children for 3 hours of fun! Very unique, I would highly recommend!

Would definitely go back, if only we lived in Exeter!

Visited for the first time and we had a blast! I'm a keen Tabletop/Board gamer and the collection on offer was fantastic. They offer games for all ages and interests. £5 per adult to enter and have full access to their gaming library. This allowed for 3hrs but if a our table was not needed we were able to stay longer (which we did!!) We were an adult group but we saw kids really enjoying the choices on offer.

They had plenty of games available for sale which I took advantage of :)

The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

The food was delicious! (Gluten free available) It took some time to get to us after we ordered but the Menu does state that they are a slow food restaurant.

Wanted to stay longer and would definitely visit again.

This is a refreshing place to escape mobile phones and social media. When we were there with our 20 year old son, a wide range of game players from couples to families to birthday parites were enjoying face to face human contact, with no one looking at a gadget. Add to that knowledgeable staff, a great range of games and a good selection of quality food and drink to suit all tastes and you have a stimulating way to pass a few hours.

Been here twice now, with my 6 year old and husband. Great way to end a day shopping or to spend some time as a family. Enjoyed the food (although pricey the portions are massive on the snacks), and cocktails. Our first visit was fantastic, with the staff taking a real interest in helping us choose appropriate games and setting them up and then checking in with us so that we understood the rules of play. Second visit, the staff weren’t quite as attentive but that could be because they were rather busy. Booking is a good idea as I imagine it does get busy. Really excited to be visiting again with friends next time in the summer holidays!
