I had a lovely one night stay with my parents at Mill Farm. We were welcomed with tea & coffee, as well as a nice chat. The room was clean & tidy with the best beds on this trip, so we all had nice deep sleeps. Delia was very helpful & even booked us in for dinner at Rodean, which proved to have a great dinner menu.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mill Farm and would recommend it without hesitation. Good value for money. Delia is a very welcoming, helpful & knowledgeable proprietor. She recommended dinner at Rodean (restaurant in Kenton) and booked us a table. We were really impressed by the fantastic food and great service.

Nice pot of tea of tea when we arrived. We were given the choice of two rooms, both of which seemed lovely. The double bed was perfect; neither too firm nor too soft and the linens were crisp and fresh. The landlady could recommend a number of local restaurants and made a reservation for us at the Rodean Inn; one of the best meals we've ever had! Breakfast (which was delicious) could be taken between 7-9 which suited us perfectly however we were advised they could be flexible with the times. Finally the landlady was able to advise us on places to visit and we had a very pleasant day out.
The only downside to mention was that the shower wasn't very powerful, but it didn't bother us that much - there had been an option of a bath as well.

In summary we had a lovely, if short stay, at Mill Farm and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Mill Farm. We were very warmly welcomed and supplied with a beautiful pot of coffee after checking in. The room is basic but very comfortable and everything needed is provided. The en-suite bathroom was plenty big enough and the shower was very good with ample hot water. The bed was very comfortable and all bedding was of a good quality and also very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of cereals, yoghurts and a good old full english alongside various other hot options. My wife had an omelette which was thoroughly enjoyed. I have no qualms about reccommending this to other people. We would stay again if visiting the area.

We had planned a visit here earlier in the year but had to postpone until September. The ttraction was the fact that Kenton is on the "Other" side of the Exe River from the more popular Exmouth and we wanted to have a look at Powderham Castle. Depite a grey and rainy arrival we were made very welcome with Tea in the Lounge after sorting out our overnight stay in an attractively equipped modern extension with en suite overlooking the contry side from trwo sides. A comfortable nights sleep following an excellent meal at the Rodean Restaurant in Kenton recommended by Delia Lambert (AND heartily endorsed by US) and an excellent English Breakfast the following morning makes this a B & B well worth returning to.
