Our overnight stay with Jeanne and Jeremy was one of the highlights of our UK visit. Our lovely and well appointed bedroom had a great view down to the harbour of the lovely small village of Lynmouth and and the presentation of the dining room and guest facilities is very good. The dinner and breakfast proved by our hosts were of excellent quality and presentation. Also our hosts made us feel so welcome. Certainly the best accomodation we stayed at during our 5 week trip.

We spent three days at the Bonnicott with our on and daughter-in-law and left feeling that our batteries were recharged. Comfortable rooms with sea views, a very welcoming lounge where we enjoyed chatting with our hosts and other guests, a super breakfast menu and smoke haddock to die for. J&J did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.

We can recommend taking the 10.30 bus to County Gate and the walk back along the cliffs for lunch at the Blue Ball before detouring in land for the walk into Lynmouth along the valley of the East Lyn.

Please don't pass this on as it would be a shame if the Bonnicott were fully booked next time we pass that way!!

Had a fantastic two night stay with our 3 year old daughter.
Our bedroom had lovely views and so did the dinning room and lounge.
Jeremy and Jeannie are perfect hosts and could not be more helpful.
My partner raved about his smoked haddock and poached egg for breakfast and we were extremely glad we decided, after reading all of the reviews, to have dinner one night - Fabulous meal !!. . . calamari to die for in the tapas !!. . . .(jeannies cooking should not be missed !!). . wonderful views of the bay and reasonably priced good quality house wine (£9.99 a bottle)
Would definately go back again :0) :0) :0)

The hosts, Jeremy and Jeanie, are a wonderful couple, they truly made us feel at home, nothing was too much trouble for them. It was our honeymoon and they even left a bottle of Champange, on ice, in our room (Thank you, Hic) The Hotel has a very homely feel to it. Our room, the Four Poster, was lovely and the lounge was very comfortable. Breakfasts were spendid and the evening meals we had there were superb, Jeanie is a fantastic cook !
Hope to return someday.

This was our first trip away as a couple and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Jeanne and Jeremy were the perfect hosts - very friendly and helpful, suggesting places of interest to visit etc. The food was delicious, a good choice and plentiful!
The views were amazing, our bedroom was spacious and had everything we needed.
The local area is lovely too, with many attractions. Lots of nice places nearby to eat too.
Sadly our three night stay went very quickly- we look forward to making another visit at somepoint!
