“Like something from the 40s”
Reviewed 23 August 2014

Visited here last evening and watched the animated film How to train your dragon 2 which cost my daughter and i a tenner. This cinema is tiny but has all the surround sound as well as a huge screen. The cinema offers a cozy interior with a real retro touch and a old smell about it too. Before we entered the gentleman working the projector(if its called that)even showed me how it was all done.........and it was on a computer and all he had to do was press a play button with his mouse!!The gentleman told me a little about the cinema saying it seated 64 and all the money taken was put back into the place.I believe there are 2 showings a day,one at 5 and one at 8 pm.A wonderful little cinema with bags and bags of character.Visited August 22nd 2014

“Small and friendly”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Excellent afternoon spent in this small but friendly cinema. Everyone made us feel welcome on arrival and despite there only being seating for 68 people. The cinema was extremely popular by visitors and locals. Admittance is cheaper than going to a normal bit screen cinema and films being shown are up to date.
They even have themed shows during certain times of the year. A great place to visit for adults, kids and recycled teenagers.

“Great little cinema.”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Went to this cinema again today with the wife and found it very comfortable, theres plenty of legroom as the person measuring when it was refurbished a few years ago got inches and centimeters mixed up (so I'm told). The cinema seats about fifty and shows a variety of newly released films,we saw Mrs Brown's Boys D'Movie which has only been released a couple of weeks. The prices are reasonable ,£5.00 for adults,£4.50 senior citizens and £3.00 children.

THE CINEMA IS A WINNER OF THE TRIPADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE FOR 2014

“A must visit attraction!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

Lynton Cinema is cosy and traditional. There were no adverts before the film unlike the 30 minutes you get at large cinemas! Nice selection of up-to-date films. A must visit attraction if visiting Lynton or the surrounding area!

Visited Cinema whilst on holiday in Lynton recently.Showing all current and forthcoming films.Very cosy (around 50 seats) and quaint ('time warp' feel to things!).Sweets and chocolate available to purchase and good value entrance price.Old fashioned atmosphere with usherette. Don't miss it!
