Description: The Cottage Inn is a family run public house on the fringe of Lynton and lynmouth , we stock a good range of well kept real ales, ciders, lagers , spirits and wines, We are now also selling our own Ale "FatBelly Ale" which is brewed right under your feet in the restaurant.. The inn is positioned along Lynbridge and is overlooking a river, this can be taken advantage of most by sitting in our beer garden or booking a table in our riverside restaurant. Our riverside restaurant is home to Nartnapa Thai Kitchen, this is Thai food cooked in a rustic way, using fresh ingredients from local suppliers, we do not view ourselves as fine dining specialists, and do not have a huge menu due to the chefs dedication to keeping every meal fresh to order but if you do fancy some fresh well flavoured meals then perhaps this is the place for you. From Tuesday to Saturday lunch times we run a small Thai Lunch Menu from 12-3.30 Please always call to check opening times for Sunday evenings Accommodation is also available from May 2015.

This is the closest eatery to the Pine Lodge B&B where we stayed so an obvious choice. There was a warm welcome with good food at sensible prices. There are appetizers for £1.50 & smaller portions of all mains for £5 which was plenty for us. Just a shame it was closed on Monday when we wanted to return.

We ate here twice during our stay in Lynton. The place has been taken over by a family who have an excellent varied menu. Lovely welcome, good and homely food with daily specials board.

Having moved to the area recently we like to check out the local pubs restaurants etc and had an excellent mid week meal. An excellent pub/restaurant with a variety of dishes and very friendly staff. Location overlooking the river is excellent and is a short scenic walk from central Lynton

This hidden treasure is by far the best pub to visit if you want friendly service, great local ales and tasty, well priced food. They always have a great selection of fresh specials on, including fish caught that day by the landlord, and a varied, fairly priced menu. The staff are attentive and knowledgable and you can tell that the food is fresh and prepared by a chef that knows what they are doing. The fact that this pub is family run only adds to the welcoming atmosphere.

We attended a beer festival and Hog roast here. It is quite secluded and therefore was mostly attended by locals. Had a warm welcome with reasonably priced drinks. Did not try the pub food but sampled the hog roast which was tasty.
Hope to return when we are next in the area.

Thank Stella J
