Lee House
Ranked #9 of 23 Lynton B&B and Inns
Reviewed 23 June 2012

We knew it was going to be a wonderful holiday as soon as we received the warm welcome from Ken and Caroline. The guest house was beautifully presented, clean, modern and very comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting Lynton and Lynmouth as well as places a short drive away. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the space we needed. It also had a lovely balcony which gave a wonderful view over the village and beyond. The breakfasts were the perfect start to any busy day with enough choice to suit any taste. We hope to be back soon and have already recommended Lee House to others planning a visit to Devon. Thank you Ken and Caroline for a warm and welcoming stay we shall look forward to seeing you both again. Lee and Tracy

From the booking phone call to the minute we left we were made to feel really welcome. Our room, No 6, was well proportioned for a B&B and spotless. The balcony overlooked Lynton and the hills beyond. Breakfast was an hearty affair, with lots of variety and we were given plenty of advise regards eating out at night. We would definitely recommend Lee House to our family and friends.

What a wonderful visit again to this magical part of the UK. First class hospitality as usual, with Ken and Caroline perfect hosts.Fab breakfasts as usual and everything spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A bonus to be there when the 'Olympic' torch passed through (May 2012). Lee House is a gold medal winner every time as far as we are concerned. Wouldn't consider anywhere else to stay. Jayne and Michael Keay (Tipton - West Midlands).

Room Tip: All rooms are comfortable.

We would highly recommend Lee House and it's proprietors Ken & Caroline who made us feel at ease from the moment we walked up the path. Lee house is situated very well for exploring Devon or just as we did to chill out. The house and rooms are very well maintained and to a high standard, our room was very comfortable, spacious, and with a great breakfast, being cooked freshly for each guest setting you up for the day. Ken and Caroline are top hosts being very helpful and making you feel at home from the start of your stay. Both with a great sense of humour your day is sure to start and finish the way it should.

We will be back and would recommended Lee House toall.

Lynton, Norh Devon is a magical place set between moor and sea and this hotel is also a bit of magic. Wonderfully situated and Ken and Caroline are perfect hosts - nothing is too much trouble and their local knowledge is amazing. Top quality food, comfy rooms all beautifully presented - wish all hotels gave this personal high quality service.
