6 Aussies set out to explore The West Country and Lee House was the perfect base. Such a wonderful place - the owners made us feel instantly at home and couldn't do enough for us, the setting is beautiful and Lee House itself exudes charm and warmth.

Breakfast each morning was freshly cooked and the menu was surprisingly comprehensive. Interesting and yummy choices, delivered with a smile and some great banter. Whatever else you have, get some of the local honey - ideally on a fresh-baked croissant :-) YUMMMM!!

The location is great and the rooms comfortable, with very comfy beds. Be a little careful with the shower, first morning it wasn't great, but then got it sorted out.

Wifi is free and works pretty well, just remember it's country speed, not super-fast city broadband (and I'm spoilt).

We had some lovely times in the lounge, playing games and chatting - and the wifi signal is good in there.

Overall, Lee House is a real gem. A winner. Go stay there, ask the owners for tips on where to go, what to see and where to eat and enjoy a great holiday!

We stayed for 3 nights at Lee house and would like to say what a lovely b&b it is. We would really recommend it to anyone.
Yummy breakfasts and really welcoming hosts in Ken and Caroline.
The room was spot on and was rearranged especially for our request.
We were given advice on the local area, where to eat and some lovely walks to walk the big breakfast off :-)
Parking was safe and secure, treat yourselves to a stay here, we'll definitely return on another trip to Lynton.

Better than staying in a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was great and both Ken and Caroline were great hosts giving us a tour in words of Lynton and Lynmouth and surrounding areas of Exmoor. A perfect stay for both my partner Mary and myself and doubt we will stay at Lee House again in the foreseeable future.
