A comfy, cozy, and very welcoming B&B. Helen was a wonderful host and truly looks after her guests. We had a late arrival and early departure on our first day, and Helen stayed up to wait for us, and even prepared breakfast and snacks for us for the next day. Located central to the town, rooms very clean with all the creature comforts you could ask for!

A lovely, friendly place to stay. Helen could not have been more welcoming.
The room we had on the top floor was not a bad size; it had lovely low beams and managed retain the style of an old building whilst having the comfort of a modern B&B.
The room and other areas of the b&b were all spotlessly clean.
The bathroom was a good size with lovely bathing products which were a nice added bonus.
Breakfast was a superb, without being massive but with good quality products.
Lynton itself has great places to visit, although we were lucky to be there for the towns food festival, which was great. Valley of the rocks is stunning as are many of the walks in the area.
The pub down the road (the Crown) was a proper locals pub, but very inviting and buzzing on a Saturday night (which was good to see).
We ate out at the vanilla pod one night. The food wasn't bad but the service was not good at all. Would not recommend.
All in all, a superb B&B. Thanks.

We booked this hotel to view the area for future holidays, we were greeted by a very friendly landlady who had waited for us in respect of our late arrival. The hotel was very clean and homely with all you would need for a stay. Her knowledge of the local area was very good with excellent recommendations for us to visit...which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel.

Spotlessly clean throughout. Our room had a very comfortable and large double bed and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Absolutely delightful walled garden, which proved to be an excellent sun trap whenever the sun was out. Decent breakfasts. Croft House is in a good location as it is easy walking distance for restaurants in Lynton or the cliff railway if eating in Lynmouth. Helen is lovely and gave great advice where to visit during our week's stay.

We expected something special for the price but were disappointed. It's an ordinary B&B like many others in the area. The price gap between Croft House and the local 4 star hotels is too narrow and therefore it does not represent good value for money. You can park in the street nearby and the owner is very helpful. The breakfast is just average. Shop sliced bread, packet cereals, some fresh fruit, one choice of juice. Only one bath towel so agree who gets it before you shower!

A wonderful place, full of character and not spoilt by over modernisation but still providing everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We had a lovely cosy room well worth the climb to the top of the house. Helen was the perfect host, attentive and helpful without being at all intrusive. A good choice was available at breakfast, the full English is highly recommended :) We feel we would have been hard pressed to find a nicer place for our honeymoon.
