Hotel was in the process of being refurbished when I stayed but business carried on very much as usual.
Room at a discounted rate because of the refurbishments but still very spacious and comfortable.
Mattress and bed had only just been replaced and were as comfortable as you'd could wish
Breakfast offers a small buffet (fruit juice, cereal, fruit) and also a full menu featuring everything from the full English through to kippers
Would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel with good sea views.
Also great access to local footpaths to Lynmouth, Watersmeet and the Valley of Rocks to help with the exercise regime....
