Very nice hotel, clean, friendly and helpful, close to Plymouth Hoe. Cost very reasonable and no complaints. Unusually dogs are allowed; saw several going in and out but all well behaved and never a problem. I would go there again if I needed to visit Plymouth. My sister and I had to attend a funeral, so we spent only 2 nights in the midst of the airplane crisis due to volcanic dust from Iceland. Travel was a problem as out flights were cancelled without warning, so we had a long and tiring diversionary journey by rail so were delighted to sleep in nice comfortable beds - both our rooms were en-suite (as I believe they all are), and I had a truly delicious full English breakfast each morning to set me up for the day. Could not fault the hotel, especially at the price, with a nice quiet situation only a few hundred yards from the Hoe lawns. We are both elderly, so we used taxis to get around most of the time and the hotel staff were very helpful in getting one to the railway station on our departure.
