“A stay to remember!”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

I have been meaning to write a review for the wonderful stay at Sea Breezes, since staying back in August, I have just been busy with baby!.

It was my our first time away with three month old baby Freddie.

I felt a little apprehensive, being a new mum & staying in a B&B, but I needn't have been.

Anne greeted us with a very warm welcome & showed us to our lovely room.

It had a super king sized bed, which we both like. The cot bed for Freddie was new, likewise it had crisp clean linen & extra padding on the base. Anne had gone that extra mile for Freddie, to make his stay lovely as well!.

The room was very clean, light & airy. The shower en-suite was super too.

Breakfast was delicious. A 'help yourself' cold buffet & or served cooked breakfast.

As anyone with a young baby knows, juggling eating & holding a baby isn't easy, so Anne offered to hold Freddie whilst we ate our cooked breakfast!, she found him a little bear & all three went for a mini tour of the downstairs!.

We were sad to leave. Anne was fantastic!, I can't rate this B&B enough. My boyfriend doesn't do B&B's, but this one he says has converted him!.

We'll be back!, a great B&B with a beautiful sea view location.

Sarah & Steve

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely, if you can get a sea view even better!

I've been working in Plymouth on a regular basis for the last nine years and always stayed in Hotels. As I travel around the country on a regular basis I've learned my lesson the hard way using Guest Houses so decided a few years ago that Hotels were a formulaic safe bet.
Oh how I wish I'd discovered this B&B years ago. It's a gem in a rapidly improving City. The welcome suits your arrival perfectly. Unusually for a large house converted into a guest House the rooms are beautifully proportioned, I stayed in a lovely double room, immaculately clean, really comfortable bed with quality bedding. The compact bathroom had - wait for it - a power shower! No damp; thick comfortable bath sheets, face cloths so you can have a proper wash before bed and a lovely variety of liquid soap and lotions.
Breakfast was really well cooked, with a great selection. I had a breakfast meeting the day before in Reading at a Novotel and paid £15 per head for a seriously inferior breakfast which had spent a long time under a heat lamp!
Book here while you still can...I predict a stampede in the near future! Many thanks Anne for reminding what should be good about a Guest House and what is still alive and kicking in Plymouth!

Room Tip: Room 4 has a sea view! ;))

We chose Sea Breezes for the first leg of our silver wedding celebration on the basis of all the great trip advisor reviews and ...... they are absolutely right! Lovely clean room, great location, good breakfast but best of all is Anne the owner - so friendly (cup of tea and chat when we arrived!) and helpful in what to see and where to go - she absolutely deserves trip advisor's award of best guest house in Plymouth :-)

Wonderful guest house.
Warmly welcomed. Spacious room, very clean and tidy. Right next to the sea. Host lovely, breakfast yummy.
So much nicer than a hotel and half the price! This trip was for business but I'd happily book for a holiday if I was going to Plymouth.
Definitely recommend!

Just had to write a review of this wonderful guest house. Very Welcoming, clean Guest house.
The breakfast was fantastic. Lovely choices of fruit, muesli, dried fruits, yogurts to begin.
Then a fantastic freshly cooked breakfast. The room was lovely and we would not hesitate
to recommend to others. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us a map of Plymouth and
some advice etc. If we ever attend a function in Plymouth again we will definitely be booking up
Sea Breezes.

I cannot priase this B&B enough, we had a most delightful stay, The rooms are beautiful and the owner most helpful. After going to some very mundane B&B's, this one stands out. The area is very pleasant and convenient and we would not hesitate to come back again and recommend this to anyone. Planning our next stay!

The overnight stay started with a warm welcome followed shortly by tea and biscuits. A pleasant way to relax before being given an introduction and map of Plymouth. The bedroom, shower and breakfast were top notch. We can thoroughly recommend Sea Breezes.
