“Great cycling for all the family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014

Cycle off road on a disused railway track from Plymouth UK to Clearbrook and on to North Devon if you are really keen. Currently ( July 2014) the last stretch into Clearbrook is being finished and the diversion is via a fairly steep minor road. Once the Clearbrook ramp is done it will be a much more pleasant ride into the village. Check out the Skylark Inn for food and real ales. Or even the village hall for events. Or just enjoy a picnic on the moorland.

“Not just for pedestrians ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014 via mobile

It is a cracking ride that can take you all the way to the edge of the moor and beyond.
I had a cracking ride yesterday but was constantly looked at with distain by pedestrians who clearly were not aware it's a national cycle path.
I had some even walk to block the path to make me wait to pass them.
I always slow down for walkers and say thanks when they move over but this last trip up was a real shame.
It's a great location but walkers and cyclists need to have a little more respect for each other.

“great day out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 July 2014

on a sunny day we decided to have our 1st of the year bike ride. did about 20 miles and felt sorry for myself for another few days! the trail is fab, lots of room for cyclists, walkers and joggers. Peaceful and calm with plenty of places to have a picnic. The are some spots where you can get a drink and ice-cream too

“Cycle path”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 June 2014 via mobile

We did this trail with a buggy trailer and a tag along.
We started at bnq roundabout to miss out on busy roads. The pathis gentle incline uphill all the way - hard going after a few miles for novice riders but the views are amazing.
The pub at the end - nice cold cider, that then sold out so couldnt have two pints and it wasnt that busy. The garden and play equipment was not well maintained and toilets were grim! Glad we packed a picnic and didnt need to purchase food there as the cleanliness of the pub didnt shine well.
The cycle back down the gentle incline was lovely all the way a nice roll and made a pleasant ending to a great cycle ride with the kids. Our 7 year old daughter loved cycling this independently! !
