We walked along the Hoe from our hotel to the barbican. We were so lucky we picked a sunny evening. These was a wonderful atmosphere and it is such an interesting spot.

Started off from the barbican and had a coastal walk with nice views. Lots of pubs and shops and it's got much history

Breathtaking views across Plymouth Sound. So easy to reach from the city centre. There is no where I would like to relax and just sit on a Summer day.

Standing on the Hoe looking out over The Sound on a bright summers day must rate as one of the best views in the world. Imagine how Drake felt sailing with his fleet off to engage the Spanish, what a sight that must have been.

Being from Plymouth, this is always a good place to go. Whether it be to take the children out for an hour or two, go out with the missus or have an hour to myself. Love it .
