“Super day for the whole family”
Reviewed 4 January 2014

We bought our grandson, aged 9 , a ski day for Christmas. (He Chose Ski-ing - could have been snowboarding)

He had a fabulous day - one and a half hours lessons, half an hour tubing, lunch , then another one and a half hour's classes and half an hour tobogganing. It was fantastic value at just over £30.

He had a super day and it really got him stared. The family finished off with 10 rides down the toboggan run.

Mum and Dad were most impressed by the facilities, professionalism and the kindness shown to the children and glad to learn you can simply drop in anytime and do the tubing or tobogganing which the kids loved ( the 5 year old sister had joined her brother by this time)

It would be just as good for adults of course

Hi GillyMay.

We love it when people have a good time here, so it's great to hear that your grandson enjoyed himself. Since we introduced the activity days, we've found they're really popular. Thanks for your positive review, and hopefully we will see you again!

Just a note for other customers - You can just drop in for Toboggan rides, but you do need to book Sno - tubing in advance. We always advise phoning in advance to check availability, as we do cater to large group bookings.

Sincerely

James

“fantastic afternoon”
Reviewed 25 November 2013

4 of us were booked in for a beginners snowboarding lesson followed by fondue.
All of the staff were very helpfull and reassuring (we were rather nervous) but our instructor (Dan I think his name was) was fantastic.
He was very patient with us and made the lesson great fun - he even took plenty of photos and videos for us.
We followed the lession by a beef & cheese fondue in the Alpine restaurant. The food was really good an plentyful and the staff were very accomodating.
The whole afternoon was fantastic value for money.
Cannot wait to book another session here and also have a go on the Voper

“Had a great time!”
Reviewed 6 August 2013 via mobile

Went to a children's birthday party here and it was brilliant! We all really enjoyed ourselves, would recommend a birthday party here. The place could do with a face lift though, its very dated and the walk to the toboggan run was very over grown and needed some love. Apart from that its great!

“Energetic day out!”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

Fairly easy to find and in a nice setting, staff are friendly enough but didn't really explain how to get to the toboggan, we should have asked but by the time we realised it wasn't mapped out we had almost found it! The children loved the toboggan and then we did the snow tube which was fun and the staff made it even more so. It was a fun morning, the place could do with a little revamping and a paint but pretty good really!

“Unusal”
Reviewed 31 May 2013

This is a great place for those who need a quick fix or adrenalin rush, great for kids or those wishing to learn to sky, not for me though. I prefer to keep my bones intact, staff are very good.
