We came to this lovely restaurant on Friday 14th September for our Daughter’s birthday. We were four adults and three children. Table was booked for 5pm and there were only a couple of other tables occupied. The setting is stunning and lovely views of the water too.
The waitress was very attentive and came back a number of times to see if we were ready to order. We were very impressed in particular with the Children’s menu both the content and choice and price!
The atmosphere was relaxed. The meals came out within a good time but we did not feel hurried I any way.
The only criticism is that never did all the meals come out complete or at the same time.
Our Starter course was missing a Child’s Meal – not good! We waited a while and asked for it but by that time the other two children had finished over half their course.
The Main meal was missing two accompaniments. Again we had to ask for them.
The desserts came out missing one, the birthday girl’s actually. Again we had to find the waitress and remind her one was missing. This became a bit tedious and annoying.
However, because of the restaurant style and location and good food we shall return.

So slow in coming back to table to ask for drinks. And then slow to return for food order. Forgot additional request for water twice which when mentioned got a look of insolence and the response, " It wasn't me - when first time it was. No apology! Don't they understand customer service here? Not like we only ordered tap water either. Sloppy, lazy and arrogant waiter in particular and a Thursday at 6pm - not exactly rushed!

I went here for a friends family meal, we had some starters to share and a main meal each there was about 7 of us and paid about £20 each! Which is pretty good as we each had a drink. The do a deal from Sunday-Friday which is l2 meals for £13 or something!! Lovely location when the sun is out. Service wasn't great, the waitress was still very polite, though maybe a little forgetful!

lovley location. But didnt have any dry white house wine, didnt have any bruscetta gave us pizza base instead, couldnt have the zilla pizza one of their specials had none of the meat to go on it, no baby sweet peppers on the mixed antipasti. When my pizza turned up had difficulty in finding the meat, for £11.00 could of been a bit more generous.the pasta dish seemed better, hard to mess up though.overall pretty average pizza express alot better.this was thursday lunchtime, wonder when their deliveries arrive for the weekend.

Prezzo in the Royal William Yard is a standard chain Italian restaurant, distinguished by fine views of the river Tamar.
The food is well up to Prezzo standard. Service was a bit slow on our lunchtime visit, which may be a problem if you are hoping to eat there in your lunch break. Staff very pleasant and friendly.
The room is large, open and can be a bit noisy.
Parking can be difficult and the pay machines are a problem to use on a sunny day, but I found a helpful parking attendant.
