Firstly, the location is excellent - right on the waterside. There is also ample free parking which is always a plus.

The prices are not the cheapest but the quality of the food is excellent and the portions are very good!

There is a really nice atmosphere in this quirky little cafe. It can get busy which goes to show how good it is!

Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

You might not come here specifically if you had no business at QAB it is not a restaurant. The food is an excellent example of what you would want from a clean tidy friendly efficient cafe. I prefer it on warm summer mornings when we are waiting for the wind to get up or need a break from work on the boat. The RWYC does good snack lunches at some times of the year, the bar on the car park does some expensive fussy food at lunch time and into the evening but Sound Bites is open from first thing until well into the afternoon and does a good range of well prepared and tasty snack foods and drink at fair prices. Long may it flourish.

The quality and variety of food, service levels and value are the yardstick to which other café's should aspire to!

Just had a bacon sandwich and coffee for less than four quid and in a nice location. Ideal for a working breakfast. :)
