A lot of Plymouth's post war architecture has been tacky, poor materials and hasn't lasted very well. This church is different. It looks smart, is stylish, has won awards and still looks very well. Stuck near a main road in a slightly mundane northern suburb it stands out impressively. Praised by Pevsner. It is also an active and well used parish church. Worth a look.
