We only stayed for one night as going to the Plymouth Theatre Royal. We arrived before check-in but were allowed to park for free, and as our room was already prepared we were given the opportunity to check in early. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the theatre, convenient location, free parking, discount entry to Plymouth aquarium, friendly and professional staff, good night sleep guarantee, large flat screen TV, would definitely consider staying overnight here again on a trip to Plymouth.

We were coming to Plymouth anyway so a £29 room was a bonus. Parked for free all day, then checked in later. Very polite staff, who offered a choice of rooms. Comfortable and quiet nights sleep. Close to The Barbican for restaurants. Cannot be faulted.

Booked room well in advance and achieved excellent rate. Nice room with good location near National Marine Aquarium and ten minute stroll to Barbican area where there is a good selection of pubs and eating venues. One drawback is that you have to walk across the car park to another building for the restaurant and bar. Good staff.

Hotel and hotel staff were lovely, room clean and fresh staff friendly and helpful. BUT restaurant huge let down staff would ignore you, leave rubbish along the bar such as dirty glasses empty wrappers and empty sundae glasses. And lots of dirty tables apparently busy as table wait but all staff was at one end of the bar having a chat & giggle rather than cleaning tables.

I was impressed from the start the size of room was great with a large bed and chaise lounge also the en suite was a good size and very clean. Large tv on the wall. The bed was comfortable and with fresh linen. Attached restaurant was a short distance away (bit of a pain in the very wet weather) but the food was excellent as was the service. Only downside for older guests was that it was difficult to work out how to use the card for electricity and we had to ask which was a bit embarrassing.
