Just enjoyed a family weekend at this very clean, friendly and efficient Premier Inn. My kids age 8 & 5 had a great time and all the staff that we met treated them really nicely, even putting an impromptu colouring competition with little prizes! Breakfast was excellent as was the bar service we enjoyed quite late on Saturday evening!

Stayed here recently with a group of friends,we found the hotel clean, with very friendly helpful staff.very close to the barbican area which is ideal for a few drinks in the evening.
Breakfast was good and well organised.
I would recommend the hotel for a short break, well done !!

no problems, although there was a rugby team staying there, we did not hear much from them even had some of them on the same corridor and the hotel was busy, all went well. We had three rooms next to each other, which was helpful, although the we also had a family room which was down stairs

The staff are always great at Sutton harbour.car parking is good and they listen to ther guests.now ins air/conditioning this was a direct response from premier travel from customers feed back of the hotel rooms getting too hot.

After the reviews about high room temperatures at this hotel I was wary of making a booking but was so relieved to be told on arrival that the new air conditioning system was just being finished off and might well be working in my room. It was, and the room temperature was controlled exactly as needed. No need for those fans anymore! The harbourside setting was ideal for our purposes and the hotel was a major factor in providing a very pleasant few days exploring Plymouth.

Room Tip: A room facing the harbour gives a better view and has no passing traffic

Stayed for four nights. As always, the rooms were immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly, and knew about the area when asked for directions. This hotel is currently undergoing some work and having air con fitted, this did not spoil our stay. Didn't eat in the restaurant othet than for breakfast, which was cooked fresh to order. All in all, a lovely Premier Inn, 10 minutes walk from the main shopping area and a stones throw from the Barbican. I would definitely recommend.

Shared a twin room with a friend for 1 night as we were on a golf trip. Only cost £20 each as we booked 2 months ahead. Other guys on our trip who didn't book early enough were paying over twice that.
Room was nice and fresh - great shower!, reception staff very friendly. The bar doesn't stay open that late but I guess so as not to disturb other guests. Breakfast was surprisingly really nice for £6.50, plenty of choice decent quality and no skimping on the cooked breakfast.

Its in a good location for a 10 minute walk to the Barbican area. However beware that the foot bridge across the harbour closes at 11pm and you have to go the long way around to get back if you miss this time. I wish this was made clear somewhere, perhaps in the room folder.
All in all though very good and a great price.

Room Tip: The car park side is possibly quieter and you get a better view.
