Wouldn't rate it in the top hundred places to eat in Plymouth but I do like it as a gentle friendly bar if you ate in the area. Would try the food again if it was meal time or I was hungry. The place now has a nightlife listings and it might be better to rate it on that criterion there.

This is predominantly a community Arts bar / venue that offers a small menu which includes homemade cakes, sandwiches, soups, various tapas and daily specials of chilli etc - all home made with local ingredients.
The best thing about this place is that it is used for a wide variety of events which includes DJ nights, live bands, folk singers Jazz band nights to name but a few... and offers something for everyone - including those with nimble fingers that attend the weekly 'sip & stitch' sessions.
Overall a very friendly and welcoming bar/restaurant
