I have stayed here a few times now. The location is very good and central. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the room clean and comfortable. Breakfast is always great quality. If you are in Plymouth for a short break I would recommen the Jurys Inn.

Booked for the price rather than location but was not aware of charges for carpark which brought the total to what I would have paid in Premier Inn. Found the hotel difficult to locate and at rush hour was a nightmare, the carpark location was vague.
The reception were very friendly and the room was easy to find without going down numerous corridors. Standard layout room with all the essentials, clean and the bed was comfy. Nice to have the option of bath vs shower but thought the bath was quite low, good use of lighting in the bathroom but confused me that they take time to warm up, suggest you turn them on and leave them on!!
Breakfast layout was a muddle, no milk near the beverages had to 'journey' a lot to find everything, good selection if you want cooked though.
I didn't visit the bar or restaurant for dinner therefore cannot comment.

Stayed for one night to visit daughter at University on a cheap rate which included breakfast. Hotel had a nice bar and lounge area and helpful staff, room not luxurious but spacious and clean with everything you need. We asked for a quiet room and got one on a high floor at the rear which was perfect. Location was excellent, you could walk everywhere. We were able to park at my daughters but parking could be an issue for others. Breakfast a bit disappointing, not the choice of food we have had in other hotels but quality good and service excellent. Probably not worth paying much extra for. Overall a good value stay, and would use again.

Decent hotel. Was pleasantly surprised with the building, the reception, bar area, lifts and room.

The room was big for the rate, well appointed, well laid out and furnishings in excellent condition. You should not be disappointed.

Parking (underneath Staples) about 50m past the hotel driving into town on the left costs £6 a night. You should pay at reception when you check in.

There are many restaurants and shops within a couple of hundred metres. Go for a walk behind the hotel, around the marina area. There is a variety of restaurants to cater for different budgets / tastes.

Stayed for 2 nights on weekend in Plymouth. Having previously stayed at hotel further from city centre, we decided to book this hotel- location and price were right. Felt a little comprehensive about the stay after reading some of the bad reviews but no need to fear.
Room was a good size, clean. We booked double bed and got a double and single bed(?). The double was very small and little hard. We didn't sleep well. Our room was facing the street and was ever so noisy! If I stay again I will request room facing the sea. Bathroom was a good size and clean on the first glance but looking closer, there were lots of short black hair all over one side of bath and floor. The bed sheet had two blood stains.
Other than that, all ok.
Didn't eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food.
We had a fire alarm going off and had to evacuate the building and I felt the hotel staff would benefit more from further training on how to deal with lots of people trying to move out of building.
We feared the parking and it was ok. The hotel covers the 1st 24 hours at discounted rate and then it's up to you to pay @£1/ hour rate which isn't bad I guess.
However had I have to pay more for the room I would not be happy about paying extra for parking!
Great walking distance to barbican, shopping centre.
Might stay again if we find a good deal per room.

Was about £60 for the night. A decent sized clean room and a nice bathroom with a shower. (No bath for the girlfriend)
Bar and reception was nice and staff were friendly. Would recommend if you want nothing special.

Chose this hotel for a visit to the city. The room was clean and tidy and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had read bad reviews about the hotel but am pleased to say I would have no hesitation to stay again.
