Visited here for the 1st time after living in Plymouth for many years. Not a very friendly welcome, waitress showed us to a table which was not the one we booked, she went and saw another lady we then got shown to a table in the conservatory, this table was great as it was a beautiful sunny evening. Lady that took our food order was the only friendly face we saw. Couldn't fault the food, very tasty, hot and nicely presented.

Ok so we are all entitled to off days but you do not carry them forward to your work place. Not a single smile or pleasant greeting when we arrived, in fact the staff hardly broke into a smile for any of the customers in the restaurant. Not unlike the restaurant itself the menus were tired, torn and sticky. We ordered some water as we were driving and were reluctantly given 3 over priced small plastic bottles. The mixed starters were very deep fried and the presentation rather suspect, though in fairness the crispy duck was good. The main courses all lacked flavour and tasted of mono sodium glutamate. This was a bad takeaway style experience if anything, not what you would expect from a restaurant and not worth the price charged. There was nothing about this restaurant that would ever entice me back.

My partner and I called at the wet wok for a meal and whilst it was ok I thought it was extremely salty almost to the point I couldn’t eat it. Staff were efficient. The food was very quick coming out So much though that I wondered bit like it had already been made as it was literally minutes. I wouldn’t rush back.

Recently ate here with my husband and 2 x teenage boys. Service was ok, not overly friendly. Food was good and portion sizes where big. Wasn’t cheap but did get to bring home our leftovers to enjoy the next day.
