We had another very good meal here last night. Good to see the place full to overflowing out of Uni term time. The food prices are still amazingly cheap but the booze prices have been adjusted upward even though they remain less than in most restaurants. Veggie Perrins will only remain viable if they are more realistic about pricing generally. There is nowhere this cheap for food this good. There seem to be some very efficient waiting staff, certainly necessary when it's this hectic. They do however need to try to combat the weather, even if it's no more than wedging the door open to allow a cooling draught in from the street. Maybe some older and illegible pages of the menu could be reprinted. Good to see someone has done some laminating and beginning to replace some of the crumpled student plastic sleeve inserts with more robust and neat scripts. Even those of us loyal and enthusiastic punters who have no problem with some lingering amateurish and homely eccentricities welcome occasional easy inexpensive improvements. Otherwise, just keep up the good work.
