“Property in need for some TLC....”
Reviewed 3 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Good location for accessing Plymouth and the surrounding area with comfortable bed and clean linen/towels.
However the property is in need of some improvement in respect of decor, general presentation and cleanliness. Notable examples would include
- used/old J-Cloth & scourers in kitchen
- number of old/part used toiletries from previous guests in bathroom
- double glazing units in need of replacement due to internal condensation
- window/mirrors in need of clean/polish

Had a wonderful break at Woodland View. The location is perfect having a large supermarket just down the road and easy access to main roads leading to Plymouth city. Lovely woodland setting at the back of the house easily accessible via the back garden. The rooms are airy and comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable with plenty of storage space. Well stocked kitchen with a variety of utensils. We loved our stay here and are indebted to Peter and Chris for all their kindness. We would love to come again :)

“Lovely flat and very helpful owners”
Reviewed 9 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My emails were answered promptly prior to arriving. They were there on arrival and provided tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Well appointed kitchen. Lovely hot shower. Everything nice and clean. Comfy beds. Peter even rang for a taxi for me to take me to the wedding. All equipment that I used worked. There was a washing machine but I didn't use it. 5 mins walk from Asda, a chippy and pharmacy; and children's play park.
There were several steps down to the flat even though it was ground floor - don't know if there was a different route to get to it if in a wheelchair.

“Lovely little flat”
Reviewed 22 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Very pleasant ground floor flat, beautifully decorated, and in a quiet little estate, tucked back against a woodland backdrop- beds are really comfy! Thoroughly recommended. The owner also is very helpful and is based not far away if you have any queries etc - and they supply bowls for the dogs too which we found very thoughtful. The flat upstairs is quiet too, and the most you hear from its occupant is a few squeaky floorboards, otherwise you wouldn't even realise you're in a ground floor flat at all !! Garden is secure and quiet, and area is pleasant for dog walks etc. The flat is within easy reach of most of Plymouth, and we would have no hesitation at all with staying there again.

“Homely flat with everything you need for a get away with mans best friend”
Reviewed 20 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We arrived early but Christine the owner let us in. We stayed for 3 nights with a large dog. The flat has a contained back garden which is great for the dog, it also backs onto national trust woodland which is again fab for a wonder. Easy to access flat of the A38. Bedding and towels provided along with free wifi, all the extras as well like salt and pepper and fully functioning kitchen. Free parking, 2 bedrooms, supermarket a short walk away. It made a lovely change from a hotel, being able to sit in the lounge and watch tv instead of a hotel bed. Would highly recommend and already have to a couple of friends.

“Comfortable well situated flat”
Reviewed 28 December 2015 for a stay in December 2015

A comfortable ground floor flat situated nest to a woodland walking area, ideal for dogs. Stayed with wife, younger daughter and chocolate labrador whilst visiting family for Christmas. Owners very friendly and helpful.
A couple of points worth noting. The steps down from the road are quite steep so could be difficult for people with mobility difficulties and the woodland can get muddy if wet, so bring your walking boots!
Would certainly recommend.
