I took my mum and dad to this hotel just before xmas on a Turkey and Tinsel. We had a great time room very good views of the sea, food excellent and the waiters were very accommodating anything you wanted no problem. Bar staff also very good. Entertainment every night and very good specially the bingo. In an excellent location lovely walk along the front to the town. Would recommend it to anyone hope to go again this year.

We stayed at this hotel for five days as part of a coach holiday and had an excellent break.
The room we had was clean and comfortable with a good view of the sea.The tea and coffee making facility was replenished daily and there was always clean towels. The meals were very good with plenty to choose from. There was entertainment every evening with a good sized dance area and the bar is open 24 hours. Its just a two minute walk to the sea front and close to the town. For the money we paid it was really good value and we will be going again later this year

Thank you for taking time out to write the review.
Yes, I agree. We do represent exceptional value for money. Especially when you take in to consideration our location, good wholesome food, served efficiently by a happy smiling waiter. Great entertainment etc etc. We don't make any pretence about ourselves. We are what we are and a good many guests return time after time because of this. Thanks once again and see you soon we hope.

I stayed in the kistor on a weekend break in may 2012. On arrival I was impressed by the overall look of the outside, it was a big pink hotel. After cheacking we headed up to our room to dump our bags and explore. The room itself was a little dated and the door was a bit heavy and slammed but overall it was ok.you had everything you needed to see you through. The location was good its just a stones throw from the beach and town was a short walk. There is a bar area and an indoor pooln but the pool is quite small. Food was excellent and entertainment was good. There is a lift and staff are very helpful. Overall a great experience and would return anytime.

I have just returned from a trip to the kistor hotel. What a disappointment. Swimming pool was closed, this is one of the reasons I picked the hotel.Food average., One lift for 2 people therefore huge queues.Rooms drab, bath so old the enamel had worn off and looked dirty. Televisions had no reception in some rooms and only had 3 channels. Some rooms had no heating. The only hotel I have been in that didn't have a phone in the room.Carpets from out the ark.
The only positive point was Bart the waiter. He was very efficient and there was no waiting to be served. Best waiter I have ever had.
The only thing to mention is this hotel is being taken over next week. The entertainment was attrocious. If you're over 75 you may enjoy it! It is dangerous when so many guests were over 65 not to have any form of communication if there was an emergency in the room.
For £20 more I could have gone to Benidorm for 7 nights half board. I only had 4 nights at this hotel. I will never go on holiday to a hotel in UK again it's a rip off!!

Room Tip: Higher floors, some rooms have no heating. Rooms with view of seafront have no television signal

A group of 25 from our Divorced & Separated Club stayed here from the 3rd to the 7th of December on our Turkey and Tinsel break and had a great time. The floor wasn`t altogether sorted , but it didn`t stop us dancing the nights away, couldn`t resist getting up thanks to the excellent artistes especially Just for the record, Simon Gee, who played and sang & kept the joint rockin, and Shaun Leaver. The resturaunt host Bart, who has been mentioned in another review, couldn`t`nt be more help, and the bingo Host Peter was a dry compere - finishing almost sentence with ish .Everyone thought their rooms were great, and when you got used to waiting a short time for the lift to get to your floor again, even that was fine. Thankyou one and all for a great time.

I am pleased that you had such a good time! Thank you for taking the time to send in a review. It's often only the bad things that some people want to put across, so it is always a pleasure to receive really positive reports. I shall make sure that all those mentioned see the review. See again soon I hope.
