Stayed in this hotel for a week in July. The floors all creak, the one and only lift is a disgrace, the armchairs in reception look ok until you sit down and nearly fall to the floor. The pool area needs a good clean at the very least. We paid extra for a 'Premier room '' I hate to think what the others are like. The room was large with twin beds. The beds were made up with dowdy blankets and ancient covers - pretty duvets desperately needed. The bathroom was a death trap with no handles to grip on the bath and a fixed shower head over the bath.
The staff were all nice and helpful, the food was good with a good variety.
This hotel badly needs a complete refurbishment but with the same staff would then be excellent.
You need a good sense of humour to stay there at the moment.More
