“Mediocre food in dirty surroundings.”
Reviewed 14 June 2014

Just spent the best part of £30 on a lasagne with chips & salad, a burger with chips & salad, and a sharing platter, coffee & coke. The service was slow and a bit slapdash, the food was mediocre, the lasagne was a reheated job, and all meals were not exactly the most generous of portions for the price charged. The worst part was how dirty and messy it was, there was rubbish strewn all over the outside eating area, seagulls were smashing glasses, which were just left broken on the ground and the tables were left with leftover food so it made the seagull situation even worse. The whole place looked like it could have done with a good clean. We won't be going back anytime soon.

“Not brilliant”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

Whilst on holiday and staying in the Premier Inn on Goodrington Sands we ate a few times in the Brewers Fayre, Inn on the Quay. The value meal during the afternoon is good value, with main meals and you can have a choice from three deserts for 2 for £2.00. We had the chocolate fudge and apple pie, good sized portion and served with ice cream, cream or custard. You can't go wrong for £2.00 for two.

One evening meal that we had was the smoothered chicken, not very good, luke warm and the chicken was not the best quality. The chips were almost non existent and most of the chips were bad.

As we had not eaten since breakfast we ate it but will not be ordering that choice again.

There needs to be more healthy options on the menu please.

We ate in the restaurant at various times of the day and think this is a factor on the meal quality.

“Excellent service”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

We booked the Inn on the Quay for a large family meal. There were 23 of us including quite a few children. The restaurant found us a large table near to the play area, the service was good, as a large party our order was correct and brought out in good time. The staff were really accommodating and friendly.

Food was average, its standard pub grub but reasonable cost.
