Very good value for money. Owners Julie and Bill are lovely people. Rooms extremely comfortable and clean. Food delicious, and plenty of it, definitely need a walk afterwards. Would thoroughly recommend a visit, we will certainly go back.

Have just returned home from our second visit, this year, to the Coombe Court Hotel in Babbacombe. We were greeted, as always, with that welcome cup of tea and a friendly chat before being shown to our lovely warm and inviting room. The food is excellent and plentiful whether you are staying for bed and breakfast or including evening meal and you are spoilt for choice. It is late in the season for a holiday and the weather outside may be cold but you can rest assured that the welcome you receive inside most certainly won't be. Booked for next year before we left. Thanks Julie and Bill, looking forward to it already.

Stayed for 2 nights and will defo go back there again. Rooms are being refurbished gradually but even the 'older' rooms were clean, bright and airy (we were shown 4 to choose from). Brand new bathroom with power shower - lovely!! Julie and Bill are the perfect hosts. They work hard and it shows. There is a half size billiard table and dart board, television lounge with leather suite and a very spacious and airy conservatory looking out at the beach. Breakfast was a real treat too, wish we could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: Some rooms were smaller than others but they were all good. Busy road at front of hotel but we stay...

Arrived Friday of August Bank holiday weekend, they were fully booked,Our friends had booked this hotel & we arrived first but that was no problem,They gave all guests a warm welcome & a welcome Cup of Tea on arrival. When My friend arrived another cup of tea was brought & there was no hurring us to go to our rooms.Breafast was excellent & served very quickly. Evening meal was plentyfull, & there was a choice as well. The room was lovely & clean & nicely made up with towels & toiletries on the bed. Plenty of draws & hangers in the wardrobe. We had a walk in shower which was powerful & warm when we wanted it. Plenty of lounge area for guests to sit in the evening, seperate TV lounge & games room as well. Overall very good value for money. We will definately be back next year.

it was with trepidation that my husband and i booked this hotel for my mother and aunt as they are a particular pair with definite ideas! However we knew we made the right choice the minute we stepped through the door to drop them off. Following a wonderful welcome (and a cup of tea!) from Julie they were settled into their spotless comfortable room. It certainly was a home from home as Julie had promised. The little touches such as a glass of water at their table each morning for their tablets, the wonderful home-cooked food and the smiley service from Julie, Becky their waitress and the rest of the team made their stay even more relaxing, enjoyable and stress-free - not only for them but also for us! We all cannot recommend this hotel highly enough - particularly for those of a certain age!

Family of 4 stayed here in August 2012 for 2 nights. We booked over the phone without giving any deposit after talking to Julie. When we arrived sure enough we were booked in and shown to our 2 rooms, (1 twin,1dble), both rooms were spotless and we were made very welcome. We were given a front door key which was most welcome as we came back late and the hotel was in darkness but this was not a problem. We only stayed B&B the breakfast was very good cooked to your order and served with a smile. We had a good stay.
