Stayed here Aug bank holiday. Strughled abit getting parked, and seen lots of cars left parked on double yellow lines or grass verges ALL with parking tickets so beware. Pay and display car park next door to hotl so don't know why they didn't park there?
Location excellent. Room sit less and family room located furthest away but only a minute or two to reception.
We didn't eat here as ventured out and about.
We will definately stay here again! :)

Stayed here for our family holiday, phoned ahead the week before to try and get a sea view as it was my son's birthday during our stay. When we arrived we was pleased to have been given a great room with an even better view (129) already his stay was going to be a good one !!!

As with all Premier Inns the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped, made even better with two large windows looking out to the bay, on arrival and throughout our stay all the staff seemed happy and was more than helpful.

The only gripe I would have is the wait at the bar some nights was longer than it should have been, even more so on the night a manager had failed to flick a switch when changing the barrels and all the draught drinks going off !!!!

Breakfast was superb with no waiting for tables, an advantage when you have children. . . .on the whole a great stay in a superb hotel made even better with the view, will definitely be returning. . . Thanks for everything.

I just left this hotel a few hours ago after a two nights stay for our wedding anniversary. I must confess that I was hesitant at booking a premier inn, but we had to confess that we really enjoyed the stay.Lovely chap in reception who booked me a taxi as I wanted to go into town last night for a meal. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a family room in the new wing second floor with sea views. Wifi was available at 30 minutes free per day or £3 per 24 hours which I think is cheap. This can connect up to two devices only.Car parking is available but very limited with a free voucher from reception. Be very careful to park only in marked bays as you will definitely get a ticket.
Overall a good hotel and despite being a premier inn, was worth it. Bravo to the staff.

Room Tip: New wing around 620 or 621

Stayed at this hotel for a weeks holiday. The room was very nice, very clean, usual Premier Inn stuff included.

All staff we saw were very welcoming and the there is a really cool board in reception for tourists, showing all the best attractions.

Breakfast in the adjoining Beefeater was good everytime, and the service was excellent too. Paul is a great character and a real star in the team.

Thanks for a great week guys!

We spent a week at this Premier Inn at the end of July/beginning of August with our two daughters. We had a family room in the newer part of the building. I initially had reservations about the room being on the ground floor as I didn't feel comfortable having the windows open at night and previous experience of Premier Inn air con hasn't been great. However the air con proved to be very efficient and we had an extremely comfortable sleep in a very generously proportioned room. The staff had been very helpful in terms of offering for us to move rooms the following night when the hotel would be less busy but this proved un-necessary in the end. The pleasant room was the usual standard of cleanliness and was serviced daily. We find Premier Inn great for staying in with our children and now favour their hotels over the more pricey fancy establishments as we tend not to make full use of the facilities when we stay with children. The location is very convenient for walking to the harbour, gardens, beaches and town centre. I note that some reviewers have been dissatisfied with the car park but there is a very reasonably priced municipal car park adjoining that always had spaces and let's face it, there is more to holidaying than parking your car! A great stay with no complaints.

Stayed at the premier inn on a stag weekend, it was great for us as a base, but also for couples of all ages and families. Very clean and good rooms with great service in bars and restaurant. Excellent sleep quality. Would highly recommend this hotel.
