Very clean and comfortable. Food and drink available. Good Bus service from right outside. Buses every 10minutes to Newton Abbott, Paignton, Brixham and Torquay centre. Free parking was available in nearby roads. We used our Bus passes. Very pleased with 12 noon check out time. Friendly greeting from Staff, Thankyou.

Have stayed at this hotel several times, and was pleasantly surprised to find it had been refitted recently - was very impressed with the new look. Also there are now security guards patrolling the corridors during weekend nights, I assume in case of loud parties. I have not previously had a problem with people being loud at night but friends who were in the opposite side of the hotel had, so it's nice to know they are doing their best to stop this. Overall a very pleasant stay and we will definitely be back. Very handy to be able to get a drink and something to eat at midnight after an evening out too!

this was our first stay in a travelodge and would like to say it won't be our last, the hotel was clean and the staff really freindly and helpfull. Our room was spotless and the bed was one of the comfyest i've slept in with lovely clean crisp bedding,we heard no noise at all through the night even though there were a few stag/hen party's staying there. We had breakfast which we pre booked on line it was a buffet style with everything you needed to keep you going and was of a good quality, the only down side is the room is only small with a few tables so get in there early. The hotel is about a15/20 mins stoll to the harbour if you need a taxi the staff will gladly get you one all in all we cannot fault our stay and would reccomend a stay here to anyone

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Found the room to be clean, big and comfortable. Bed was comfortable, coffee and tea making facilities. Hanging space provided and a shelf above this. Our room was hoovered also the next day and cleaned again, so we can only say how we enjoyed it. It's a good base to visit the beach etc. breakfast was really good, and all you could eat, or not if you didn't. I would definitely book breakfast, as it sets you up for the day! Would come back again.

It's a Travel lodge so you get what you expect. Very good bed and clean bathroom / Shower. Prices are steep for breakfast and evening meals but food was fine. Location is a little to far out of town to walk in but if you use Town car parks then it's fine. If you have time, eat out for breakfasts, plenty of local places do cheap "all day Breakfasts".

we were very disappointed in the room. There were no bedside tables only tiny little shelf let into the headboard, not big enough to hold book ,glasses ,clock and phone. The mirror was on the opposite side of the room to the electric socket, not very convenient for the ladies hair straighteners . No wardrobe-just 6 hangers on a rail with small shelf above. Only 2 teabags(more could be obtained by asking reception ) The sheets were freshly laundered but had dirty marks which obviously didn't wash out. There were dirty marks on the carpets, although they were vacuum cleaned. The bathroom was clean but 1 towel to 2 people and 1 small phial of shower gel to be used as hand soap and showering for 2 people. The breakfast was hardly warm. Parking has to be paid for at £3 per 24 hours. On the positive side the staff were very pleasant, the room was warm and the price ok for a 1 night stay. Unless in emergency situation I will not be staying again. Torquay has many hotels with rooms in the same price bracket and better facilities.
