Description: The Driftwood cafe and bistro is unlike any other on Fore Street. We place great value on quality, presentation and difference. Our food and produce are fresh and locally sourced wherever possible, and everything is prepared and cooked in our kitchen. With a cool look, the Driftwood Cafe is really true to its name

Driftwood is a family run coffee shop and restaurant. They have recently started serving Sunday lunch. When I was there the lunch menu consisted of Parsnip Soup, Roast Pork and or Roast Turkey and a vegetarian option. I ordered roast pork and my friend roast turkey. The food was delicious the meat was very tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked, especially the roast potatoes and the service was good and attentive. Each of us paid £6.95 for the roasts which is excellent value. We followed these with a Sundaes - scrumptious! The total meal cost £11.00 each.
