Yes, it's a spoons but its clean, welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. The bar staff checked every glass to see if it was clean enough to use. The food was standard bargain lunch at spoons, but one of the better ones. They are not all the same. If you are in the middle go Torquay avoid the green ginger and go to the London

We went for steak night and was not disappointed! We sat upstairs as it is always quieter.
The man behind the bar who took our order was very polite,he also brought our food to us about 15 minutes after ordering.
The food was hot and very tasty, the steaks were really nice!
Also very good for price!

A group of 4 of us, 2 male, 2 female, all in our 30's went to the London Inn for a drink on Friday night of this week. It seemed to us a heavily disproportionate number of the patrons were old men, in cheap trainers, jeans and jackets and comb-overs.... And that's fine, but leering at my female friend and I (still in very boring office wear from work) glaring down our male colleagues (again, doing nothing to deserve it) was just... er... odd. And it didn't seem to go down much better with the rest of the customers either, some of whom left. Later in the evening my female college was assaulted as she left the toilets by one of the sports-jacket & cheap trainers old men. She confronted him immediately with a confident "what the --- is wrong with you" and he ran from the building. She decided not to go through the additional trouble of reporting it to police. The pub does have door staff, who seemed professional and reasonable people, but they stayed at the door... The vermin were already at the bar- setting the tone.

Another Wetherspoon's bank conversion producing spacious seating areas. We had two breakfasts, Steak Club and Curry Club here because we enjoyed the food choices, the relaxed atmosphere, good service and the prices.
