We had a good holiday, walked to the harbour on a few days but it's also a good base for checking out south Devon. We took the car on the other days and visited places along the coast from Salcombe in the south to Sidmouth in the north.
When we arrived we were greeted by one of the polite and friendly owners. On the few occasions we needed to speak to them they were happy to help (e.g. borrowed one of the DVD's from their extensive collection and they provided some more toilet rolls when we'd used all of the ones provided.)
The room was clean and the facilities were very handy including free Wifi, designated parking and washing machine.
It's hard to avoid hills in Torquay, comes with the territory, and this was no different but the walk back to these apartments were a lot less steep compared with our last stay in Torquay in different accommodation. Good job as we now have a 2 year old. There is a short-cut with a load of steps but if you have a buggy you can take a slightly longer route with just pavements. There are shops etc near the apartments but we didn't really need to use them.
Very well maintained and clean property, well sited within a mile or so of the town centre, and with off-street car parking. Very friendly and accommodating owners. Nice views of the town valley. Good facilities including what looked to be a nice pool (we didn't have the time to use it). An excellent, quiet spot to stop as a family of four.
