where do i start. coach trips so much value. work out what it would cost you to do the whole package yourself then criticise over what i see as good value for money. if you want 5* then pay accordingly.

Room Tip: think what you paid

Went on coach holiday with GB Tours. Do not rely on photos, hotel badly needs refurbishment. Stayed in room 23, bed was sooooo hard, the room was small but for 3 nights it was OK, just that bed. I complained next day & mattress was then padded out with blankets etc. Bed was then OK not comfortable but OK.
Now for the pluses. Food was very good, not top restaurant quality but hot, well cooked & efficiently served.
All the staff were pleasant & efficient.
Entertainment each night was very enjoyable. We were pleased there was no bingo, I hate it.

Room Tip: If disabled ensure lift takes you to your room, no access to room 23 by lift.

I went on a coach holiday with GBtours ,I didnot like the room I was given and decided to move to their sister hotel the Grosvenor as the Inglewood was fully booked, Sue on the desk sorted this out for me and she was excellent deserves 11 out of 10 for her assistance, the food in the Inglewood was excellent could not fault it and would return to a better room

Room Tip: would not advise number 10 because of location and size even for a single

Having seen the channel 4 series the Hotel i decided to take a long weekend at the governor in Torquay-unfortunately i found the jubilee weekend fully booked so i accepted the sister hotel, the Inglewood just next door.
As you walk up to the main entrance the photos show a striped lawn and lovely pool area but unfortunately the reality is far from it, the garden was a mess and used for parking and the pool looked like it was last used in the 1970's it had a scruffy cover and was surrounded by weeds !
The Inglewood reminded me of an old peoples home from the 70's, remember the ones that were run by the local council on a shoe string. Over in the Grovenor TV star Mr Mark strutted round like a movie star having his picture taken and generally playing up to the crowd, i just hope it lasts for him as memory’s are short and if you don’t take care of business it will bite you in the backside at some point. But back to the Inglewood the bed was creaking the decor is tired and crying out for a bit of love Mark seems to only give to the Grovenor. But and its a big but the staff are great and work tirelessly to make you comfortable as much as possible, so come on Mr Mark do the right thing and splash some cash on the Inglewood, if nothing else the fantastic staff deserve it.
And i will come back to see !!

My wife and I would like to thank all the staff at the Inglewood Hotel for a very pleasent four night stay. Room 37 was clean and comfortable with a view of the sea, we enjoyed the meals which were well prepared and of ample quantity. I will always remember the fresh smell of furniture polish in the lounge/ bar area in the mornings while waiting to go for breakfast.
