We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff, but when we were shown our double room we could not quite believe it, there was a bath instead of a shower and the toilet is almost touching the bath in fact the so called bathroom is a small cupboard the sink is in the bedroom it would not fit in the bathroom ! And there is a tall wardrobe right next to the bed you are touching it all the time we could not move the bed away from it as the room won't allow us to move the bed no room in the room ! The room is very cold no heating on and can't turn heating on either no knobs on the radiators. My husbands parents had a twin room again very cold and they are in their eighties but they do have a nice bathroom though, no extra blankets in the rooms. Our room was number 111 avoid if you can. We put up with it because we were only staying one night thank goodness. The bar was very well run and warm. No snacks apart from crisps at the bar. The kitchen had a problem and was closed it was a very good job we had a cooked lunch. I wish I booked the Premier Inn just down the road with a Beefeater attached.
