What a fantastic hotel - Margaret and John (The Owners) were very friendly and helpful they even picked us up from the railway station.

The place was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was amazing with everything you could ask for including a huge selection of fresh fruit/cooked breakfast.

Also ideally placed to visit the whole of the Torbay area.

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

I’ve just enjoyed a wonderful stay in Torquay thanks to Margret and John. I stayed at the Crimdon Dene while attending a conference nearby which required some early starts. Margret and John very kindly also got up early to ensure I and the other delegates all ate a full and tasty breakfast before we set off.

The whole hotel and my room were all very clean and well maintained.

The kindness of Margret and John was demonstrated by how they helped another guest. When he returned to the hotel and appeared to be unwell, Margret and John showed genuine concerned for his wellbeing. John ended up taking him to the local hospital and waited with him late into the evening.

If you are looking for a somewhere to stay in Torquay, you won’t find better than the Crimdon Dene

Back for my second stay. Margaret and John as friendly and welcoming as ever: they bend over backwards to be helpful, but are never in your face. Yet another line in their famous yogurts - coconut - which with the fresh fruit on offer for breakfast makes a gorgeous start to the day. Another guest wanted kippers and got them. The room was immaculately clean, warm, and very quiet. It had everything you could possibly need. The bed was perfectly comfortable. I enjoyed my stay, and will definitely stay again.

Have just returned from a weekend break at Crimdon Dene. Booked a family room for myself, my husband and 11 year old daughter. This is a lovely place to stay. The room was plenty big enough for our family and very clean and well maintained. There were tea & coffee making facilities and a freeview tv in the room. The owners, Margaret and John, made us very welcome and our luggage was taken up to our room while we were signing in. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they took the time to ask us if there was anything else we needed. Breakfast was lovely (and lots of it!). Our daughter was sad to leave and is already planning our next visit here! I would highly recommend this hotel.
