“Very good on a sunny day”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We spent a lovely Saturday here in the Sun. A lovely park area (great for dog walkers) a very unusual cricket pitch leading to the main house. Plenty of art work to look over and buy. It seems very popular for Weddings with registry office and love church on site to. Café fairly well price.
A few ponds near the gamekeepers old house, and a Rose garden (not at it's best needing a lot of dead heading) Be careful with Sat Nav as some will take you down very tight lanes (follow the small bus route in) Car Parking one only had 29 spaces where the main car park was bigger with toilets neat the Drum Inn

“Cockington Village”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

Although widely advertised we found that we were actually paying to go into the gift shop although the village is free the car park like all those in this area is very expensive. However, if you can walk half a mile or so the park is very good with ample eating places, glass blowing and gift shops.

A beautiful quiet place. We enjoy listening to the pianist while eating delicious scones jam and clotted cream. Mmmm.
The highlight is a ride in the horse and trap, and a chat with the lady who takes us around the park. Always a warm welcome.
We look forward to our next visit.

“Very Quaint”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

The whole village is a joy to visit, and was much quieter than previous visits which made this one even more enjoyable.Plenty to explore and good cream tea in the main house.Shame there was no cricket match on this time, which is always good fun to watch.Enjoy!
