Been to Torquay the last 2 years both times B&B , so we decided to for a hotel and The Grosvenor came out as good value.
Although on arrival we were over charged, but this was soon rectified when pointed out. We ate at The Inn which was excellent food, as it was a Monday night had the place to ourselves but Karen and her daughter were super helpfull. We planned to eat at restaurant the following night.... Even though i has told reception previous night, we werent expected. So we went down the the Harvester ( down by the quay) would recommend if you have kids.
Some of the rooms were being redocorated whilst we were there, yet the room we had was perfect ( very dated, but typical British Seaside Regal Decor) fantastic view of the sea and pool. ( which was filled whilst we were there, as the Sun had decided to come out for our whole visit)
If you are wanting the decor etc of a premier Inn , you may be a little put off staying here. But if you want to embrace a typical British Seaside Hotel, then The Grosvenor is highley recommended.
