We stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with our choice. Adam, the owner, greeted us and showed us round on arrival. We had booked too late to get a room with a seaview (despite booking about 2 months in advance!) so chose a standard double room. It was fairly small but more than adequate for what we wanted - we weren't planning to spend much time in it! The bed was comfortable, the shower was good and the towels huge and fluffy although the lighting was a bit dim.
The breakfasts were excellent - a very wide choice of cereals including 3 types of Dorset Cereals muesli, fresh fruit, yogurts etc, and the cooked breakfast also had a large number of components! All the staff were really lovely and helpful. The dining room is light and airy with a view of the pool.
We spent part of one evening in the bar chatting to Adam who is very engaging and interesting - the conversation ranged far and wide!
Unfortunately we didn't get to use the swimming pool as the weather had taken a turn for the worse! It's a 5-10 minute (downhill) walk to the seafront and town centre so very convenient.More
