What a wonderful attraction. The model village is a little model world! I went with my 2 grandchildren aged 14 and 11 and they were enthralled. The models and their surroundings are outstandingly accurate and you can look into a lot of the buildings and see the families watching TV, the firemen working, the cricket and football matches, the fairground rides, the train travelling around - I could go on and on. We visited the village on a later closure day and gradually the village became illuminated - just beautiful. It's a great attraction both day and evening and nearer to Christmas it is decorated with lights and artificial snow so this year we will be going back in December.

Thank you for visitng us and for your kind review. Just to note, our Winter Wonderland snow event is now planned to run every few years (due to the maintenance impact it has on the gardens and models). Future dates for this snow event are yet to be confirmed, however we will still be running a Christmas event every year, with magical lights, Santa and pantomine.

When you first see it , you'd think "oh, not much here ...maybe I'll be round it in 10 mins " ... but oh NO ! ... keep you eyes & ears on alert at all times as theres plenty to see. Some nice treats for the adults ( eg... the model town has a nod to " The Italian Job " ) and the kids will be in awe ... a few things to do , the static displays are ok but your better off buying the guide book for the history , how it's made etc
