Thank you for visiting us, it is great to hear you enjoyed your visit. I will just mention that our admission prices are a little cheaper than most attractions in the area.
My husband and I visited this place mid week. The place is great. We saw the 4d cinema offering which was fun. As we both wear glasses we put on the 3d specs over our own as instructed. They were not very comfortable and there was a slight ghost around the characters other than that we both enjoyed the experience. The crazy golf was fun and free and there is so much to look at. We had to pay for parking as the car park does not belong to the village and perhaps they could attract more visitors if they validated the parking even by a small amount. The staff were very respectful and helpful could not have asked for better service.
Thank you for coming to see us and for your great review. As we do not own the car park and gain no income from it, we have nothing to refund from it sadly.
I first want to thank all the staff who keep Model Village up to date and looking great. The amount of work that goes into keeping model village look how it is, is amazing. Some amazing attention to detail to be found all around the area and is fascinating to look at. The mini indoor adventure golf section was an added bonus too. A great day out no matter the weather for all the family.
Thank you for coming to see us and for your fantastic review
We recently took our grandson to the model village and he absolutely loved it. We did too! The entire site is filled with wonderful model buildings and really nicely-done settings such as village greens, harbour, circus, and so forth. Many of the shop models have names which play on the real shop names, which is a nice touch. Many of the model lorries also have liveries that follow the name play idea. Oh, and the fire-breathing dragon is great too. There is just so much to see and admire. We are lucky to live fairly close to Babbacombe and so we will visit again.
Thank you for visiting and for your great review
On a dull January morning so many tourist attractions are closed but this was open. We went not expecting too much but it far surpassed expectations. We thought it would be great to take the grandchildren but thoroughly enjoyed it without them.
It was far bigger than we expected. There was a “Where’s Wally” for the kids and find all the letters of the alphabet. We enjoyed finding them too.
A lot of the business names are puns. Telecommunications by Mark O’Knee, Removals Dent & Scratchett, coffee shop - Costa Fortune and so on. Quite amusing. I did like the take on the apple logo that was a pear with a bite taken out of it and many similar examples.
Super heroes mansion was great. The medieval scene with deliberate anachronisms (at least 30), Wombley Stadium, Letsbe Avenue - all excellent with great attention to detail and a lot of humour. Plenty to see, a whole morning or afternoon for sure. Nice café, friendly staff and theplants look like bonsais, well kept to scale with the models.
All in all a very successful way to spend our time on an out of season day that offered so little elsewhere.
Thank you for visiting us and taking the time to write such a detailed and great review
This is a great day out for anyone, whether you have children or not. This place makes you feel like a kid again as you go around looking at all the models that are there, the detail & the sets are impeccable. You have various little models of the surround villages, beaches in Babbacome to the Statue of Liberty to scenes from The Game of Thrones.
It’s an amazing place to visit, highly recommended
