This is a great place to stay in Torquay. Paul and Linda are very welcoming, the room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was excellent, the public areas were comfortable, parking was easy, everything in fact was excellent. We will definitely book to stay here again and we'd recommend it wholeheartedly.

On our 2nd ( and likely now to be annual ) trip to Torquay, we are so glad that our previous accommodation was fully booked, otherwise we would never have discovered the delights of Cary Court. Paul is a unique character, very welcoming, enthusiastic and endearing as 'mine host' whilst we only just had a sample peek of Linda ( the memsahib - to quote Paul's words ) who certainly ranks her part ( We would recommend her scrambled egg by the way ) - What more could one ask for from especially Torquay ? ..... We'll tell you what - A lovely large Aegean Room suite with all of the room you need ! We also agree with the other ratings and comments and we were more than happy with the excellent position in relation to the town, and the home parking facilities....... Looks like you'll be having to endure with us again next year, Paul and Linda !

I stayed here during the week for just 1 night, with my friend. We were VERY warmly welcomed by Linda who happy to advise on how to get to the harbour (5 min walk), where to eat and drink etc. She then gave us a tour and explained about breakfast.

She showed us the "Bring your own Bar" which is great, they don't have a license but have all of the kit to have a nice drink. Myself and my friend grabbed a bottle of wine and then sat in the conservatory and played cards - they have a wide range of games.
The pool looked like it would be great in the summer, great garden as well.

We talked to Paul as well, he was lovely, very helpful as well. There are no lifts (understandably) but he did take my suitcase upstairs - I was very grateful as I have a broken vertebrae - but he did so unprompted.

We stayed in the Arabian Sea room which was a standard double which was really lovely. Comfy bed, TV, private bathroom with shower.

The following morning we had a FANTASTIC breakfast. Cereal, fresh fruit salad (the good kind, strawberries, melon, blueberries etc), yoghurt and then I had a cooked breakfast (was perfection) and my friend had scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. There was a good range available.

Really great place, very highly recommended.

We spent last weekend at the Cary Court , although it was a rainy weekend in Torquay it was always sunny in the Cary Court and what a wonderful time we had.
From the moment we arrived until we left everything was perfect the room was amazing, the breakfast's are great.
The service was second to none thanks to Paul and Linda who are wonderful hosts, such warm friendly people , so helpful and nothing was too much trouble making our stay such a pleasurable one.
We can't wait to stay again and would say to anyone thinking of visiting The English Riviera to stay in this Torquay treasure.

We recently spent a week at the Carey Court. The hosts were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Our two teenagers loved the pool and it was easy to reach all the attractions that Torbay offersThe breakfast was a highlight for me. The setting for the hotel is quiet and set in beautiful gardens - Linda has done a good job there. In every respectwe were happy....even the weather was good!
