We booked this en route to Torquay and were a bit skeptical, but all our fears were soon dissuaded when we received a very warm welcome. We even reached earlier than planned but the room was ready. Travelling with a little one we were worried about little things and kept pestering Rick and Sarah but nothing was ever too much.
Its in a nice location, under 5 minutes walk on a straight road from beach front. As other reviewers have said its a bit noisy from the traffic on the road, but after a tiring day at the beach we fell asleep pretty much straight away and didn't really bother us.
Don't get me started on breakfast, Rick and Sarah put an amazing spread of various cereals, yogurts, dried and fresh fruit. A full English, Sarah had already anticipated that we are vegetarians and prepared accordingly.
There are so many little touches that makes the stay so much enjoyable it makes me think I am not staying at a chain hotel again.
I would recommend this place to anyone. Very family friendly
