On coach trip-Given room 22 asked for a change twice told no other room available. Very small room, door hit bed, Wardrobe door nearly knocked TV off wall. Toilet and shower cramped in a corner, small sink in another corner of bedroom not very hygenic. Room not cleaned or bed made all 4 days & to top it all true to form waitress started moving up and down corrider outside room at 7-10am. Sea View??? all we could see outside the room window was a wooden shed. No atmosphere in place. One consolation food was adequate, hot and served quickly both breakfast and dinner.

Room Tip: Avoid room 22 at all costs

A very nice ,basic comfortable room although the bed was very comfy with a view overlooking the bay. I only stayed the one night but this place is close to the centre of Torquay. I will probably stay again in the future.

Stayed for 3 nights. The room was on the small side. The shower and loo were tightly squeezed in and the wash basin was situated in the bedroom which was inconvenient the hotel was clean, however,my duvet had huge lumps in it.
The breakfast was very good and the evening meal was adequate but served far too early at 6pm.
The evening entertainment was awful and hardly anyone stayed to watch it.The hotel was a little far from the town centre but the bys service was excellent.

We were on a coach trip so did not expect much more but we enjoyed the break and Torquay was lovely.

our trip started on the isle of wight with just go holidays, good value for money when u think the ferry was included in the price. our room was amazing shower nice and hot, no shower gels or shampoo. My bed was i think the most comfy bed i have slept in and the views where amazing. the staff where very helpful, a little run off their feet at time. entertainment was well ok. we played bingo on saturday evening which was nice. Veggies beware, not much choice i had cheese omlette for a safe option which was not to bad. the rooms are clean and tidy. number 12 bus takes you into torquay or you can walk into town, return trip in £3.00 on the bus. train station is walking distance from the hotel which is handy. All in all we had areally nice time and many thanks to the staff who worked very hard, would defo return to the hotel, bearing in mind its a budget hotel dont expect the ritz,if i got a good deal. overall i think i got value for money...shame you cannot book the weather

Room Tip: ask for a large room with sea view...

Stayed in room 15, amazing sea view. The bed was extremely comfy, the windows were permantely open though as the room was quite small and it got quite hot and stuffy easily. The shower was GREAT and the breakfast was great value for money, you can have a choice of cereals, you get loads of toast, and then a nice fry up to go with it. There was a good TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were pleasant. Terrible parking, I found it extremely difficult to reverse out of the car park and then to get on the main road, it's not there fault though i suppose. Torquay toen centre a relaxing 30 minute walk around the beach. All in all a great place to stay and I would definately recommend.

Room Tip: Room 14 and 15 Amazing sea view.
