Was desperate to try this diner since it opened so when we had a special occasion coming up, my partner called up to book... The guy who answered was very friendly and helpful, he asked if it was a special occasion and wrote it in the book... On arriving the waitress knew who we were and was expecting us... Had a balloon tied to our table... Wished us happy anniversary and offered us a bottle of wine on the house... Was very pleasantly surprised and felt a tease instantly! The food was just what we expected.. We went for the 12" hotdogs one with pulled pork the other with shredded beef chilli... With deep apple pie & cookie and ice cream stack for dessert! Will definately be going back... Infact we are booked for my daughters 14th birthday this Tuesday...

The decor was a bit like an old fashioned barbershop... Waitresses wearing skirts that looked more like belts. We were served by two different waitresses: a blonde young lady with an Eastern European accent was lovely; the one who took our order did so as if she was counting the minutes to go one, oblivious to the fact that a smile costs nothing. The menu said "freshly baked bread" but there is no way that rock hard re-heated thing could have come from anywhere but a supermarket shelf. The sausages were both over-cooked and shrivelled. Mine was a BBQ hot-dog and to this day I have no idea what on Earth was the uneatable concoction that came on top of the sausage: it tasted dreadful and looked like a cat's brown vomited furball. Chips (or fries!) had to be bought separately and there was not even a leaf of lettuce to adorn the plate. So £9.50 for that so-called hot-dog and chips was preposterous. We promptly skipped dessert and went across the road for a delicious chocolate orange icecream! £20 later, for just me and my daughter at Keith's Dinner, we came back home for a proper meal.

Friendly service, huge portions, lovely for, good atmosphere. Constructive criticism offer 6 inch and 12 inch hot dogs on adult menu less wastage for disposal as portions are so big. Some people find a huge plate of food too daunting
