Just stayed 2 nights at this great B&B. Deluxe King Room - fantastic. Hotel was spotless, Rooms were great. Friendliest hosts we have ever had. Breakfast was excellent. Quiet location, just a short stroll to main area, very relaxing. Didn't realise how much there was to do in this neck of the woods!. Will be heading this way again, and will definitely be looking up this B&B. Great value all round.

Room Tip: Stayed in room 2 - deluxe room - huge bed, huge bathroom. Would recommend it.

Excellent service, Good breakfast, free wifi but was slow on occasion. Clean, well maintained, and well equipt rooms including communal lounge for guests. Reserved parking for guests. One of the nicest B&B's I have stayed in.

We spent 5 nights here and could not fault the place . Comfortable ,spotless, great breakfasts with excellent service. The whole place was very well maintained and room, although not huge, was well designed to contain everything you need. We loved it and will be back!

Enjoyed a weekend break at Abbeyfield. Has a comfortable lounge to relax in and a dinning area for breakfast. Jeff is very welcoming and informative , he's got it just right for being helpful and available without being intrusive. Tourist maps are available and plenty of info about whats on in Torquay and surrounding area with some helpful recommendations from Jeff. Breakfast was superb both days. Room 2 has a view across garden, it was clean and has on suite loo and shower. Comfortable bed and wardrobe space. Small TV and tea coffee tray which is restocked daily. It is in a peaceful location about a 10min walk to town but I found it really easy to get lost so take a decent street map if you want to find your way back. The hotel is on the junction of Bridge Road and Lime Avenue which has vehicle access at one end only but pedestrian access at both ends.

Room Tip: Room 2 has comfy bed , view across garden. Ask for your wifi code it's free, our tablet worked b...

Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. The previous reviews were spot on, so you can book in confidence. Location, rooms and breakfast were 10/10. The weather completed a wonderful week.

Although it was our first visit, it felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel.

Jeff and Sandra worked so hard to make the stay relaxing and stress free. From the moment you arrive and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat about the hotel, you are made to feel welcome and valued.

Jeff offered a run down of the local area including where to go, what to see as well as good places to eat. I mentioned i enjoyed photography so Jeff also offered some really good suggestions for taking pictures.

The room was a junior suite and was spotlessly clean, bright, spacious with a very comfortable bed. My wife was particularly pleased to see sockets and good lighting near a mirror.

The breakfast was very good with a selection of fruit juices, pastries as well as an excellent cooked breakfast anyway you wanted it. Although breakfast was between 0830 and 0900 you had as long as you needed without being rushed to finish.

We travelled by car so the location with free parking was perfect to explore the whole of the Bay with Babbacombe, Paignton and Brixham all less than a 30 minute drive away.

Room Tip: The junior Suite has an additional seating area with windows overlooking the garden and is a really...
