what a warm welcome the owners are great hosts they give you a great insight into the area and malcolm has a vast knowledge of how to travel around on a budget and is happy to help in this area . As a person with a slight walking disability the location of the apartments are ideal local to transport bus / train and most of all the sea front 5 to 10 mins walk . The bay tree is a relaxing place to stay clean and well kept . Every need for a relaxing stay is considered and the lovely cream tea that Jacqui welcomes you with is just the icing on the cake .....you will not be disappointed ..we have been twice ... this time we had to stay for 2 weeks ..great holiday made all the better by staying at the Bay tree house Appartments ...cant wait to go back .

malcom and jackie were great hosts.
the holiday flats are kitted out with everything you should need.
good transport links into town center or a 15/20minute stroll along the sea front.
If we go to torquay again would stay at apartments again.

My daughter booked these apartments for our ruby wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. The apartments are lovely and have everything you need for a weeks stay.
We are both pensioners and these apartments are in a great location within walking distance to sea front and train station.
The apartments are very clean and it was so nice to have our own ground floor apartment with front door key to come and go as you please.
Jacqui was a great host even picked us up from train station and when leaving offered to take us back to the station. We also had a cream tea and a lovely ruby anniversary card waiting for us when we arrived which was a lovely touch.

The apartment was perfect for our short winter break. It was warm, cosy and contained everything you needed from plenty of crockery to a hair dryer. We were greeted by Jacqui when we arrived who provided us with lots of useful information on places to visit in the area and cream teas!
There was a number of takeaways and shops within 5 mins walking distance which were very pleasant. Cockington village (about a 20 minute walk) was a brilliant day out, with fantastic food and defiantly worth a visit.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone, especially for a quiet romantic break away.
