We stayed here for 3 nights this previous weekend. The guest house is so clean and welcoming, Sam & Pete are great hosts. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. Fantastic value, breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble at all. a 2min walk to Torre Station and opposite number 12 bus route. Close to town and sea front for a walk too. Ample parking and a garden area to relax in or in the porch. Would definitely stay here again 100%, highly recommend to anyone visiting Torbay.

We stayed here for 3 nights during a planned visit to friends in Torquay. It's a lovely B & B and is very conveniently located on the main road leading into Torquay. It has off road parking and a bus stop right outside. It is a couple of miles from the harbour area but is only around £4 in a taxi one way. Paul and Sam made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived. We had the corner room at the back of the building on the ground floor. Good room, as it was quiet and not facing the road. The breakfast in the morning was very good and plentiful. Sam made time to chat during breakfast and was always interested in what we were doing. They are such lovely people who are running a great business. It really is a lovely B & B and a definite must stay place in Torquay. Thank you Paul & Sally for a lovely visit and we hope to see you again in the future.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the guest house.

We spent one night here to break the journey from Cheshire down to the tip of Cornwall. The guest house was easy to find and had adequate free parking. The proprietors, Sam and Pete, were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home.
My daughters aged 12 and 18 shared a standard ensuite room on the ground floor. It was small, but very well appointed and had a cute little staircase to the ensuite bathroom, which was a novelty..Our room was classed as superior, and only cost a couple of pounds more for what was a bigger room with windows overlooking the pleasant back garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, I cannot fault the place for cleanliness. My only criticism was the bed - it was obviously a good quality bed, but my husband found it uncomfortable and did not have a good night's sleep. I guess it isn't really a criticism at all, because it was a decent bed after all!
The breakfast room was light and airy and pristine. Sam was an attentive hostess, and the full English breakfast was of hotel standard with good quality ingredients. There was a good range of cereals, yoghurt and juice too, plenty of coffee and toast.
I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again, if we were ever to return to the Torquay area.

Room Tip: Tip - book directly with the hotel rather than through a booking site. I saved £4 per room. Room 4 o...

This is our second time staying at Silverlands and Sam and Pete made us feel like family staying here. This time we stayed in a downstairs room which seemed to be just redecorated to a high standard. Breakfast is just superb and the whole experience is just great. For the price you just cant beat Silverlands.
We will be booking again shortly!

Found the Silverlands on the internet and booked without knowing anything about the guest house but was really pleased with our one night stay. The owners Sam and
Pete made us really welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable with lovely crisp cotton sheets. There was no banging of doors like you get in the bigger hotels. Our breakfast was really nice and Sam had gone to the trouble of cooking me vegatarian sausages. There is no negative points that I can say about Silverlands and we will be staying there again. I stayed in room 3 for 5 days. It was very clean and nice. The house is recently renovated and very comfortable. Wifi not perfectly strong but functional. Sam and Pete are very nice. They are very strict about breakfast time though, better not be late. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Room Tip: Room 3 is very quiet and comfortable.

Stayed here for a night in July, had a really warm welcome from both of the owners who showed us to our rooms which were spotless. Location is about a ten minute walk from the sea front. Had an amazing full English for breakfast. First time I've stayed in a B&B and won't be the last, would definitely recommend
