My husband and I stayed at the Silverlands last night for 1 night. Sam & Pete were very welcoming. Room 1 was spacious, lovely and clean. and had nice white soft fluffy towels and crisp white bed linen on a lush firm bed, great nights sleep, (just what you want after a long motorbike ride!!)
The dining room is light, airy and clean, a lovely & plentiful, full English breakfast, scrummy HOT toast (some places its only warm by the time it gets to the table!) there are assorted cereals, fruit and yogurt if you wish, and as much tea & coffee you would want.
The only small problem is that if you need to leave early in the morning make sure you park in the back spaces as if you park in the front you may get hemmed in.
But that does not deflect from this lovely B & B and we would highly recommend Silverlands and will definitely be back!
great value, Torquay's little gem!

Fabulous! Beautiful clean comfy rooms, Sam and Pete so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Breakfast delicious and plentiful . Perfectly situated within 2 mins from station and a stroll away from town centre and quay side . Looking forward to our return in August .

While traveling through Devon, we happened upon the Silverlands. From the moment we met Sam & Pete, we felt welcomed. We took a Superior room which is well worth the extra few pounds. The room was spacious and newly renovated. The bed was comfortable, the dining room was bright, the breakfast was hot & tasty and the service was quick and cheery. Sam and Pete are doing a great job running and renovating this B&B. I would recommend the Silverlands to any of my friends.

This was our 1st stay in a hotel/B&B and it was very memorable. Sam made us very welcome straight away. Our room was perfect and spacious and we couldn't of asked for better, very clean and fresh, the bed was really comfy and clean and the en-suite was perfect too.The complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate and biscuits was ideal. Breakfast was delicious and certainly set us up for our day, lots to choose from.We will most certainly be booking again and won't stay anywhere else in Torquay,I'm so pleased we chose where we did and the choice was made from reading other peoples reviews. It was quiet at night and we were left to come and go as we pleased,we weren't hounded by Sam or Pete (as i know some friends have been when they've stayed at hotels). It is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre which we walked and was lovely to not have to worry about parking as there is parking free of charge at the B&B.We highly recommend staying with Sam and Pete, you really wouldn't get any where more friendly and welcoming.

Great B & B with nice average size bed rooms, great hosts who prepare a good breakfast for you. It is a good 25 minute walk to the town center, a pub within 10 minute walk was our eating place for the night.

It was our 3rd time at the Silverlands since Sam and Pete took over. Place was immaculate again, clearly had another lick of paint again even though it didnt need it! Breakfast is fantastic as normal, big selection. Quiet at night, super comfy beds and ample room. What more do you want??? If you can book this place then do so, dont look at anything else!
