You'd have to be very picky to find fault with this charming 26-room hotel. My own tiny foibles: the shower was quite small and not very powerful, the pillows were a little solid, the floors creak... but that's really about it. Very minor blemishes. This is not the Hilton, after all.
The hosts are so welcoming, the rooms are more than adequate (although drawer/hanging space would be tight for a couple staying the week), and everything is spotlessly clean (my sheets were changed after 2 days). There's a quaint garden to sit in, a cosy bar, a TV lounge and quite a large breakfast room, easily accommodating the flow of guests. Breakfast was pretty good, with as much toast as you like. One lady asked for beans instead of an egg - not a problem! Nothing seemed too much trouble. (And the WiFi worked well.)
I loved it and will be staying here again. Full marks for value, hospitality and cleanliness. Excellent!
